Expansion of the school to leave no child behind within the project area:
Chharka Tangsong Rural Municipality comprises 9 isolated villages in the eastern terrains of Dolpo region parsed alongside the Bheri River that starts from the mountains of Chharka. Despite the presence of at least 6 public schools, CBS stands out as the sole institution functioning effectively. Our vision is to enhance the school’s capacity in all aspects, ensuring that no child is left behind within the project area. To achieve this, we plan to: + Adding more classroom buildings. + Establishing a proper hostel facility to support children from nomad families and nearby communities. + Upgrading existing buildings into thermal-insulated passive solar houses to accommodate the entire school population during winter.
Ensuring Further Education Opportunities:
We are unwavering in our commitment to supporting students for further education beyond completing grade 10th at CBS. At present, we provide support to two students, covering their basic living expenses and college fees in Kathmandu for their continued studies. Anticipating a significant increase in the number of students attending higher schools and colleges in the near future, the challenge to support them intensifies. Our aim is to ensure that no one is left behind in their pursuit of higher education.
Your involvement and support are crucial in realizing these future plans. Together, let’s pave the way for a brighter and more inclusive educational journey for the children of Chharka and surrounding areas.
